The meaning behind the name “Etal,” means “to manifest” in Quiche. Make a statement with this leather and huipil (wee-peel) crossbody bag featured in a rounded rectangle design with a top closure and adjustable strap. The huipil is beautifully highlighted by the buttery soft leather and fully lined inside with corte. This bag also features a back zipper pocket.

Every huipil is in vintage condition, creating its perfect charm and imperfections that a factory cannot replicate. It is featured on both sides of the bag. The interior of this bag, is beautifully lined with corte. The corte is the skirt part of the traditional outfit. Our team has collaborated with a local leather-man, who has helped design and craft each bag.

This unique huipil and corte was sustainably sourced from our artisan partner Don Edgar. The leather body is beautifully hand-crafted by Don Fernando using top-grade leather.
